The Christian Reformed Church in North America
The Bridge Church is a member of Classis Greater Los Angeles (GLA), The Christian Reformed Church in North America. The Christian Reformed Church in North America (called as CRC or CRCNA in short) is a denomination of about 300,000 members in more than 1,000 congregations across the United States and Canada.
The Christian Reformed Church calls itself Christian because it forms one small part of Christ's church on earth. It recognizes as fellow-Christians all people who accept the teachings of the Bible as summarized in the Apostles' Creed.
The Christian Reformed Church calls itself Reformed because it is a part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of 16th-century reformer John Calvin, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots.
The Christian Reformed Church calls itself Church because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
The emblem of CRC is the cross in a triangle.
The triangle represents the Trinity, our belief in the one God we know as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The cross symbolizes our belief in Jesus Christ's sacrificial death for our salvation.
